I chose to photograph this wood as I think it represents 'break'. Its texture of different layers of wood and paint helps to impact on the idea that it is broken.
I also think it represents how in Hull there are many old, broken and damaged buildings waiting to be fixed. Which could help represent Hull's progress and change into becoming a new, modern city.
